Dr. T is a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is internationally recognized as a leading voice in airway‑focused orthodontics and dental sleep medicine, and as the co-proponent and founder of Reflex‑Driven Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, a transformative approach that is redefining how clinicians diagnose and treat airway‑related conditions.
His mission is simple yet profound: helping patients breathe well, eat well, speak well, and sleep well. Dr. T’s philosophy extends far beyond teeth. He integrates the airway, the nervous system, and long‑term wellness into every treatment plan, delivering dentistry that elevates whole‑body health.
He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of California, San Francisco, and completed advanced implant training through UCLA’s gIDE Master Clinician Program. With deep expertise in implants, orthodontics, dental sleep medicine, and Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, Dr. T provides a uniquely comprehensive, integrated approach to care, all under one roof. He has also trained dentists and medical professionals around the world in airway‑centered treatment.
Patients know him for his gentle, thoughtful, and highly intentional approach. He listens deeply, explains clearly, and treats with both precision and compassion, ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident.
Dr. T is married and the proud father of four children, three boys and one girl, who brings energy, humor, and heart into his everyday life. The family is completed by two beloved dogs: Kemba, a Lhasa Apso–poodle mix who believes he is the CEO of cuddles, and Coco, a tiny Yorkie with the swagger of a much larger dog. Together, they create a home filled with laughter, loyalty, and just the right amount of chaos.
And when he’s not with patients or family, Dr. T can almost always be found on the pickleball court. An avid player, he’s known throughout the pickleball community as “T — The Dinktist”—a nickname earned from his precision dinks, competitive spirit, and the same laser‑focused discipline he brings to dentistry. Whether he’s dropping a perfect shot at the kitchen line or laughing through a rally gone sideways, he plays with joy, intensity, and a love for the game that’s contagious.
